Pilotly is the first self-service insights platform for media content- we make complex research simple, fast and cost effective. Through our interactive video platform, we are able to collect detailed consumer feedback rapidly from specific target audiences, and then process the data using our A.I. algorithms to surface valuable insights to our clients. Help us become the platform of records for every organization, small to large, that needs to optimize the outcome of their video. Every day we’re collecting hundreds of thousands of data points from our research studies. Whether it’s a response to a question, a user interaction with our video experience or an implicit activity we derive insight from, there is always data being collected during a Pilotly experience. While we process this data to surface insights for clients, there is a bigger picture opportunity here. We can look at data across industries to surface market trends, identify new performance indicators that leverage our depth of respondent data and match our 1st party with 3rd party data to produce new valuable insights. Using your background in math, statistics and computer science, we’re excited for you to turn our millions of consumer data points into a playground of valuable information for our clients. Overall Expectation *As Pilotly continues to grow at an accelerating rate, we need someone who can fully digest the breadth of consumer data that we have and arrange it into a symphony of insights that can both improve our product and help customers. You’re to be the one who ensures that none of our data is dormant. * | A Good Baseline to Start from -Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, or other related field) from an academic institution -Expert in Python and SQL, as well as experience with MongoDb -Excellent communication skills with demonstrated success presenting complex data and analysis in a clear and compelling manner that inspires action -Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques used in market research -Quick learner, with the ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance -Preferably experienced with dataset from TV data providers like Nielsen and Comscore | Your Daily Grind -Support research services with complex data analysis and validation of certain consumer insight assertions -Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how users interact with our products -Keep research norms up to date, using this data to create new and better ways to quickly inform clients of their content’s overall performance -Mine Pilotly data to extract actionable insights that inform, influence, support, and help execute our product decisions and launches. While mining data you’ll be working to surface new key metrics that tie tightly to content performance, giving us new ways to provide value to our clients -Design and implement reporting and metrics that track and monitor the performance of our products, the quality of our data, and overall health of the business | Why Pilotly -We’re always building new media technology that keeps us ahead of the market -We are affecting culture, so we must be purveyors of culture, our team reflects that.
